The CFFB had an area all to ourselves in the "Multi-Make Club Area". Although not the best of areas out there, if was a decent spot tucked in an out of the way place. Next year if we go to this event, we will try and get a "F-Body Area" set up exclusively just for the F-Bodies. It was an odd day weather-wise as it was an unusually cool and windy day and most of us got wind burn and sunburn at the same time!! Our group included 7 SSs, 4 30th anniv TAs including 2 pace car convertibles, 2 Firehawks, plus a bunch of Z28s, TAs, Formulas, and WS6s. One of the Firehawks was, of course, Jimbo's brand new pewter Hawk.
All in all it was a great time - lots to see and do, plenty to buy, and lots of good company. Thanks to all who participated, especially those who took the time to drive from far away.
As always, we'll do it again sometime soon. Keep an eye out on this web site or the F-body message boards for the next CFFB gathering!!

Here is a glimpse of T/A Tom's 30th anniversary TA on the left. Jimbo's pewter Hawk is in the background and next to that is a 30th anniversary pace car TA.

Of course, Jimbo's Hawk got plenty of attention, everyone wanted to check out the bad bird!
Another attention-getter was Eric Lugo's 30th anniversary pace car TA convertible. Eric added to the uniqueness of his TA with a matching blue window tint.
Here's a nice shot with one of the speedway's turns in the background. As you can see here as it got later in got in the day, the F-bodies started clearing out, some for a long ride home.
